| Introduction | My husband,Rick,and I have lived in Wayne almost all our lives. We raised two wonderful children Katie and Kyle. We lost our son in an automobile accident in November of 2002 but were very blessed to have been parents to such a wonderful son. Our beautiful daughter, Katie, is now married. Her husband David is a part of the National Guard and has served in Iraq. We are so proud of his service. Katie and David have given us three beautiful granddaughters who continue to delight us everyday - Karrigan, Brynn and Kyla. We don't consider oursleves empty nesters as we have two dogs that constantly keep us on our toes as well - Sady a weimeriner and Mazie a Shi Tzu. This is my fifteenth year of teaching Kindergarten in Winside. Prior to that, I was a Resource teacher working with students with special needs. I also did my student teaching in Winside. It was then I knew this is where I was meant to be - a warm and very supportive community. It has been my joy to teach your children and I am looking forward to many more happy years of teaching! |
