Introduction	I'm just a simple girl trying to do the right thing and make a difference in the world - and failing miserably 99% of the time. I love Jesus, friends, family and life in general. I try to keep things simple and do what's possible in my realm of action to make a difference in the world. My family started the journey of fostering to adopt our middle daughter and finalized the adoption in July 2009. During the process I also gave birth to a baby girl in March 2009. We went very quickly from a family of 3 to a family of 5! I'm still trying to figure out life with 3 kids, and trying to blog about the ups and downs along the way. I'm a stay home mom with a passion for people, social services, books, gardening and photography. I have a list of careers that I would like to do before I die, ranging in everything from a high school guidance counselor, financial planner, coffee shop owner to TV news anchor, photographer, world relief volunteer, missionary and everything in between. I have a great sense of humor, can totally take a joke and love to laugh at myself! I totally embrace who I am and who God has created me to be.
