| Introduction | We went to Baptist Hospital on Wednesday, January 31st at 7:00 P.M. They took us back to our Labor and Delivery room where we stayed through the night. Grammy slept in the waiting room at Baptist, Pappy was preparing to leave East Liverpool early the next morning, and Grandpa and Grandma Story were on-call at home. Thursday around noon Dr. Haney made the decision to delivery our baby by C-section. We went to the operating room around 12:50 P.M. and HAILEY MARIE STORY was born at 1:09 P.M. Daddy carried Hailey back to see the desperately waiting grandparents in the LDR, then they followed as dad carried Hailey to the nursery. Mommy's surgery was completed and was wheeled back to LDR and anxiously waited for Hailey to be brought to her. Hailey spent some time in the nursery getting some routine things done to her and was reunited with mommy and daddy in the LDR shortly thereafter. Later that day it was off to our post pardom room where we stayed until Sunday, February 4th (SUPER BOWL 41 SUNDAY), when we were discharged home. |
