| Introduction | I am a retired kindergarten and preschool teacher. I am certified to teach preschool through sixth grade. I was also trained in the St. Nicholas Montessori method and taught in a Montessori school for several years working with two through six year olds. At the end of each school year the children in my classroom have always listed cooking and eating the snack as one of their favorite activities. Second through fifth graders stopped by after school to ask what we cooked today. It is a great way to spend quality time as you start your child on the lifetime journey of loving to learn. Learning is a lifetime skill. |
