| Introduction | My affair with food started at a tender age, it all started when my grandmother moved in to live with my family. She was a fantastic chef who can easily whip out a meal for twenty people all on her own and she even knows how to make fish and chips(come on, give her some credit, she's chinese)!! During my childhod I'd occasionally throw tantrum if my parents wanted to take me along with them for social events because I did not want to miss my grandmother’s cooking (bit dramatic - I know). I am a real food whore(except for buffet: at the fear of chronic indigestion). I love everything from sashimi, tom yum goong, buttered chicken, foie gras, onion soup, rocket salad, brie, strawberry crumble, baechu kimchi, squid ink risotto, tandoori chicken, blue mussels in white wine sauce, lobster thermidor to Opera cake, hazelnut crunch cake and it doesn't end here! |
