| Introduction | I am one of the many extremely dedicated, passionate, hard working individuals who is striving to find their ideal job. While I am not unemployed, I am also not currently in the field that I so eagerly seek. Since graduating from college, I have been on a humongous learning curve. Discovering what exact job I want, what kind of company I want to work for, and learning how to obtain both. Along the way, I have had the opportunity to meet with some wonderful professionals through informational interviews who have passed along very valuable information and advice. Through this blog, I will share the knowledge I have gained through them, as well as through trial and error, to aid others in their search for their ideal job. While my search has been focused on the marketing/advertising field, all of what I have learned can easily apply to any job seekers field of interest. Hopefully this blog ultimately ends with me finding the ideal job as to not only validate my advice, but also to give others hope that persistance pays off. |
| Interests | Anything outdoors and fun, spending time with friends/family/poochy, reading, watching movies, making attempts at getting in shape |
| Favorite movies | I've been way more into TV lately like The Office, Project Runway, Rescue Me, 30 Rock, cooking shows (even though I never make what they do), pretty much anything involving "reality" TV, oh and I'm still in love with Friends. |
| Favorite music | I honestly pretty much listen to every genre but as of lately I've been rocking out to a lot of 80's rock and mellow tunes like those of James Morrison, Sarah Bareilles, and Kings of Leon |
| Favorite books | Right now I've been flip flopping between two. I've been reading a really interesting industry book called Groundswell, however I can't stop reading any of the David Sedaris books - they are just absolutely hilarious, and just the pickup you need sometimes. |
