| Introduction | I am a mother of 3 almost grown children working full time in our own business. I used to also do a lot of voluntary work. I am an ex secondary school teacher. I have been overweight for the past ten years and have reached a stage in my life where I don't want to put up with it anymore. I have been so busy being wife, mother, boss, helper that I seem to have lost myself. Coping with one crisis after another without complaining but always turning to food for comfort. I need to find me and in the process look after the me that I want to take into my future. Reading other peoples journals has inspired me to try one for my own. Perhaps I can lose weight and find the inner me. It is time to feed my soul not my body. |
