Introduction	A 40-something who is ecstatic about a fresh start covering the education beat in St. Tammany Parish. After some rough years, I am very happy with where my life is. Sure some things could be a little better, but all in all, I have just about everything I could have ever asked for.
Interests	In no specific order: the Cubs, the Saints, Mardi Gras, playing poker and spendin' time with da family and friends, watching Blair play ball.

Favorite Music	Everybody Wants to Rule the World, Hungry Heart, Drift Away, anything by The Eagles, most pop that came out from 1978 to 1991 or so, most country that came out from 1995 to present, mid-to-late 80s rap. (And don't tell anybody, but I like Barry Manilow and The Carpenters, too.)
