| Introduction | Grew up in Texas, School at University of TX at Austin, Grad School Cal Poly Pomona. Partnered with Jeff since 1990. Married twice - first time was in 2004, in San Francisco during Gavin Newsom's (Mayor) allowance of same-gender marriages. Unfortunately it became invalidated due to the hotly contested political nature of the issue. In May 2008, CA became the second state (besides Massachusetts) to allow same-gender marriage, so we married again June 17, 2008 in our home town of Santa Ana. Unfortunately, the voters have temporarily banned same-gender marriages in CA, pending state Supreme Ct's review of the matter. I became a dad in 2004 (2 days after our SF wedding) through the adoption of our son, Lucas Bennet. We recently were blessed with a second child, Kate Olivia in May, 2008. |
