| Introduction | My name is Samar. Ben is my husband and we’ve been together since July 2007. We have a pug named Sirius Black, a pitbull named Marie Antoinette (aka Annie), and two fancy goldfish (an oranda named Arthur Weasley, and a ryukin named Draco Malfoy). We live in Austin, Texas. I graduated from St. Edward’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Honors in December 2010 and then started working on my Master's in Counseling (LPC/LMFT) in August 2011. I work at the American Cancer Society and I'm an sex therapist intern at North Austin Urology. Ben graduated with a Bachelor’s in English and a teaching certificate from Texas State University in December 2012, after transferring from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Ben is a store manager at A.J.'s Cyclery. In our free time, I can be found marathoning TV shows or reading, and Ben can be found cycling or gaming. This started off as our wedding blog during our fifteen-month long engagement. Now that we’ve tied the knot on January 15, 2011, it is about our lives as newlyweds! |
