| Introduction | Although raised in a Christian home, I was not converted to Christ until my freshman year in high school. In college, I was nurtured in my nacent Christian faith as a member of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, and the kind ministry of a local church in the Christian and Missionary Alliance. It was there that I was baptized. While a student in seminary, however, I became familiar with and accepted the Doctrines of Grace as outlined in "The Institutes of the Christian Religion," by John Calvin. My wife and I have one child, a son, and are members of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and enjoy cross-cultural ministry and outreach to the many Latinos in our area. I'm currently working on a masters degree for ministry among this diverse and increasingly significant people group. |
