| Introduction | I first became interested in quilting in 1978. Twelve friends formed a quilting group which has gone on since that time although now we EAT and don't quilt. In 1982-85 I lived in Aruba where I had a quilting group teaching traditional quilting. Upon my return to the states I started an antique quilt business with Natalie Hart and developed an interest in hand-dyed fabrics which became my main business. TRUE COLORS........hand-dyed and marbled fabrics.......which I had until about 1992 when took over my furniture store business. I didn't quilt for about 15 years and have recently gotten back into it after reading Quilting Arts. I love developing unique pieces where points do NOT have to match. I recently have been making friends with my sewing machine though. The creative thinking is the most important part to me and I love "process" more than "project". I am always curious about new ways of creating. |
