| Introduction | I'm a mom, wife, and teacher trying to make it as an author. The other roles I hold in my life impact my writing and characters, and my writing is often inspired by a parallel struggle (with added drama and detail, of course). I have two children; have been married for fourteen years; and have been teaching English, speech, and theatre for seventeen years. I never have enough time, but I always want to do more. (Quite the conundrum, huh?) I'm super social, but I also love cozy time on my couch. I love to have plans, but I make myself anxious trying to complete those plans. I am putting myself out there with my writing, but I am consumed with self-doubt. I'm a real bundle of contradictions. |
