| Introduction | I will be graduating this coming May in 2009 and will be going into my family's jewelry business full time. I have been working at the jewelry store since I was 14 years old. The store has been around since 1938, and it is truly a family business. I absolutely love working and can not wait to share what I've learned at Roger Williams next year when I come into the business. So many people must wonder, why did I decide to take Video Journalism? Well, first of all I have always loved being in front of a large group of people, whether it be singing or just talking. When I was younger I wanted to be a reporter and I guess you can say I still secretly would love to be one one day. This class allows me to live that dream and learn a lot about the background stuff that goes into making news. (Not to mention the greatest professor ever teaches the class) |
| Interests | Well, my first love is singing....I have been singing since I was 12, and even recorded a cd that helped me get into college. I am still taking voice lessons here at Roger Williams University and although I am a communications major, I am a music minor. Besides singing, I am a sports fanatic and I absolutely love to play any sport I can. I'm that girl that brings her football (yes I own a football) to the beach and begs people to play with her. |
