| Introduction | My name is Sarah, and this blog is a way to document life with my 11 year old OTTB (off the track thoroughbred) gelding Miles. His racing name is Masarin, he was imported from South America, and aside from my wonderful husband has become the love and joy of my life. Adopting him was a huge gamble, and the beginning of our life together in the fall of 2009 was anything but sunshine and roses. Nevertheless, he has taught me so much, and now we have the kind of storybook bond I've always wanted with a horse. Miles is 16.2 hands high, dark bay, gorgeous and a HUGE ham. I'm pretty sure he would love the idea of a blog devoted to him. Make him happy and join us on our journey! If you like what you read do yourself a favor and look into adopting an OTTB of your own-there are so many other "Miles" out there that need a loving, experienced person to give them a forever home.
