| Introduction | My name is Poppy, and I am currently a 3rd year student enrolled in the Haskayne School of Business and also the Faculty of Arts with a concentration in English at the University of Calgary. Presently, I have decided to take a break from the academic grind (any past or present student will understand what I mean), and instead embark on an 8-month Co-operative Program term with IASTED Calgary, a non-profit organization based in Calgary which organizes international conferences for developments in science and technology. Using this blog, I plan to document my mini adventures (no matter how insignificant they may appear to others), daily triumphs and failures, and everyday thoughts and experiences. I hope by the end, I can look back on this to laugh, live, and learn. |
