| Introduction | Eclectic sports interests and a short attention span: I row, I snowboard, I ski (cross country, alpine, randonee, telemark), I run, I road bike, I mtn bike, I play some tennis and doubles volleyball, I raft, I kayak... I have competed in over a dozen different sports. Some might surprise you. A jack of many trades, master of none. I am a coach but not a rowing one. I have taught or coached soccer, xc skiing, tennis and swimming. That last one is somewhat ironic as I struggle to float. I am a 50+-year old father, husband, former beekeeper, perpetual student, web master for several sites, glorified technical writer, pseudo serial entrepreneur, board member, maker of bio-diesel, race organizer, Settlers of Catan player, and generally inquisitive soul. Penny Luong took the photo of me. No digital alchemy, apparently. |
