| Introduction | I am the mother of a 19 year old daughter and a 4 year old daughter. I love the creature comforts in life - drywall, central heating and air, electricity, and fluffy aloe toilet paper. We are in debt up to our eyeballs, but not from frivolity. We have acquired credit card debt through emergencies - groceries on occasion, car repairs, and gasoline on road trips to help take care of my now deceased father. Half of our debt has come from interest and late payments. We make less every month than we owe in minimum payments. We were living in a three bedroom house in a quiet subdivision in the heart of Middle Tennessee. In an effort to get out of debt, we sold our house and moved into a barn in the middle of Nowhere, KY. I swear I saw Andy, Opie, and Aunt Bea the other day out changing the population sign to add us to it. |
