Introduction Three dimensional cloth and mixed media art dolls give me the ability to translate my thought (vision) to form (reality). I have always desired a way to express the ideas that I have in my head into something tangible, to take the creations from my imagination and make them something that I can physically see and touch. The three dimensional quality of sculpting helps me bring life to my ideas and inspirations. Being able to work on all sides of my project gives me what was lacking in other media. I like working with the whole rather than just part or one side of my subject. I tend to be more of a nonconformist than many. I've always enjoyed science and fantasy fictions. These genres give me an infinite wealth of ideas to draw from. Where my peers often work with lighter subjects, I like to make spooky or odd creations. Some of my art pieces may be inspired by artists that I admire, but I always give them a different twist. I march to the beat of my own drummer. I work with a lot of dark colors and textures that reflect my quirky personality. I hope that when people see my work, they take with them a little piece of me that goes into all that I create.
