Introduction I developed a love for cooking fairly young, thanks to my 4th grade teacher, Mrs Williams. She gave us a hands-on cooking class and we made two dishes. She sent us home with a sheet that had the recipes for the food we had made in class. I begged my mom to buy the ingredients I needed, and eventually I made Barbecued Beef Rounds and Cottage Cheese and Pear Salad. It was the first meal I cooked for our family of 9. As the oldest daughter, I enjoyed cooking every chance I had...and that is when the magic began!
Interests I love spending time with my husband. We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary in November 2017. My favorite days include spending time with our two grandsons who are now 9 and 10! I love to read, hang out with my dogs, work the crossword puzzles, take road trips with my hubby to find new favorite places, listening to the beautiful array of birds that sing in the back yard and watching for hummingbirds, and my morning routine on the treadmill, I also love cooking and baking for family and friends! Not necessarily in that order!
