Introduction I developed a love for cooking fairly young, thanks to my 4th grade teacher, Mrs Williams. She gave us a hands-on cooking class and we made two dishes. She sent us home with a sheet that had the recipes for the food we had made in class. I begged my mom to buy the ingredients I needed, and eventually I made Barbecued Beef Rounds and Cottage Cheese and Pear Salad. It was the first meal I cooked for our family of 9. As the oldest daughter, I enjoyed cooking every chance I had...and that is when the magic began!
Interests I love spending time with my husband and family. One of my favorite days includes spending time with my two adorable grandsons! I love to read, hang out with my dogs, do crossword puzzles, go to the beach, hang out by the pool, go to Peet's for coffee on the weekend, shop at Surfas, Fashion Island, Sprinkles Cupcakes, take road trips to find new favorite places, travel with my husband on business so that he can use the carpool lane, listen to the huge array of birds that sing in the back yard, watch for hummingbirds with my oldest grandson, my morning routine on the treadmill, Disneyland, cooking and baking for family and friends! Not necessarily in this order!
