Your bow is not broken but you've run out of arrows. How can you fake being a bard?
Easy! Find some pieces of string, tie them on my bow beside the bowstring, and then walk around with it while singing The Dragonborn Comes. When people ask why they can't hear my harp, I'll tell them it's just a game bug, since we all know Skyrim has a few bugs.
