| Introduction | Mark Smith took up his current marketing and communications role at Stefano Lubiana Wines in March 2010. At that time, he was Tasmania’s most published wine columnist, making regular contributions to The Examiner and The Sunday Examiner newspapers, Tasmanian Farmer, and the lifestyle magazine Tasmania 40º SOUTH. These days, Mark continues to provide comment on recent trends in winemaking and viticulture via Wine and Viticulture Journal, and Grapegrower and Winemaker. Since 1994, Mark’s writing has also appeared in Winestate magazine, Australian Viticulture magazine, the Australian and New Zealand Wine Industry Journal, and the on-line publication www.RieslingReport.com. |
