Introduction	I write a syndicated column called Puttin' on the Gritz. I have 10 books in print including a novel, THE ROAD TO HELL IS SELDOM SEEN, nominated for the coveted 2012 Georgia Author of the Year Award. It is the second nomination for my books, the other one was Simply Southern. My two most recently published books are "50 Shades of Southern," and "Hey God ... Let's Talk." I am currently writing my first mystery titled: "Stay Tuned." I live in Saluda, North Carolina, the town that time forgot.
Interests	reading, cooking, writing, music, politics, spirituality
Favorite movies	To Kill a Mockingbird, Hillary and Jackie, Charlotte Grey, Dr. Zhivago, Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
Favorite music	Classical piano, jazz, anything sung by Maureen McGovern or Ella Fitzgerald.
Favorite books	To Kill a Mockingbird, Sullivans Island, the J.D. Robb murder series, The Nightingale, anything by Lee Smith or Flannery O'Connor.
