Introduction	Welcome to Highlands Intermediate School! Vision: All Pearl City graduates will succeed in the 21st century world of globalization, rapidly expanding technology and increasing cultural diversity. Mission: The Highlands Intermediate faculty and staff will ensure that all Highlands learners will: Read and write at grade level, Be prepared for 9th grade algebra, Use technology to demonstrate learning in all content areas, Have the social and emotional skills to thrive as young adults. Highlands Intermediate School serves the communities of Pearl City, Seaview-Crestview and Waipio-Gentry, and has diverse student population. It has eight feeder schools and is the only feeder school to Pearl City High School.
