| Introduction | I am an ex city girl who, along with my husband, gave away inner city living and moved to a 2,500 acre farm in Western Australia. 5 years later, and after much consideration, we had to accept that the quiet and isolated farming life was not for us. We do enjoy a little excitement in our lives from time to time! These are the tales of a non farming couple who went true rural, found that the broadacre country life was not what we were looking for, but we did not want to return to the bustle of the city full time! We have finally settled in a small rural town close to the city where we manage a small 40 acre lifestyle property. Here is what we learned about land, animals, and the country life. |
