Introduction	Hello and a warm welcome. I am a Blue Badge Tourist Guide and live in central London. I guide tours all over London from the dizzy heights of the London Eye to the myriad of medieval streets in the City. My backgrounds are the acting profession, painting, tourism and education. I grew up in the county of Kent. I moved to London, first to attend the Chelsea College of Art for one year before changing career direction to take a degree course in Acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama. Almost by natural progression I have become a guide. William Shakespeare wrote that, “All the world’s a stage,” and I agree whole-heartedly with his sentiments. It is with a love of stories and a taste for adventure that I would like to introduce you to the characters and places that bring London to life. In 2009 on completion of the Blue Badge course I received the award for ‘Best Overall Practical Examinations’ from the Association of Professional Tourist Guides.
