| Introduction | Defender of Truth and Guardian of Johnny - First I am Christian (in the Biblical sense), then Baptist and am more closely aligned to The Baptist Confession of Faith (1689) and the Chicago Statement's than any other modern "enlightened" confession. I therefore approach the scripture from a Reformed position and believe it to be the most God exalting, Christ centered position and believe it requires less mental gymnastics to explain even though it may be harder to grasp. My eschatology is best described as Pre-Tribulational/Millennial, “mostly” Dispensationalist as I see more continuity in the Scriptures than the traditional Dispensationalist; God has one Kingdom plan not two. Some may call this more Covenant Theology than Dispensationalist but that's ok. |
