| Introduction | I've worked as a magazine editor and writer for the last 18 years, the last four as a Senior Editor at Sports Illustrated where I work (mostly) on golf. Although I wrote a lot about golf before arriving as SI, I was never really a sportswriter and therefore arrived at the magazine with my fandom more in tact than many seasoned sports scribes. It was the combination of my fan's appreciation for the games and the prospect of working for the foremost sports magazine in the world that in part inspired the book, Fanatic, and this blog. |
