| Introduction | I am a woman, a wife, a mother, a Christian. I'm trying to make sense out of the life God has given me. My husband is in the Navy and I have mixed feelings for the military. But with all the griping I do, I am grateful for the military and the way it has provided for our family. I have two daughters. My oldest, Amara, has some..."issues" as we call them. She is diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, Specialized Learning Disorders, and ADHD. My youngest, Tayani (Tay), has some "issues" too. Her's are more anxiety related and we are in the process of getting a diagnosis. But through it all, I try to glorify God in all I do. From the way I homeschool my kids, to how I handle appointments, to how I handle bad news about the kids or deployments. Some days, I'm just trying to survive. |
