| Introduction | WARNING: This is yet another travel blog littering the world wide web. background I was born and raised in the small town of Batesville, Indiana. I am now a 19 year old who just finished her sophomore year at the beautiful Indiana University in Bloomington. I am working on a B.S. in both neuroscience and psychology with a minor in chemistry. I have left Indiana, where I have lived my entire life, for three whole months. These months will be spent in Seoul, South Korea for a paid internship working in Dr. Bradley Baker's lab at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST). My projects involve biochemistry, molecular biology, optics, etc. It sounds, and is, impressive. The work done here is phenomenal. A lot of it is well over my head and hard for me to grasp; however, this is a once in a life time experience and I am so thankful to those who have given me such an amazing opportunity. |
