| Introduction | Since 2002 I have dedicated myself to gaining a seat in a U.S. medical school fueled by my drive to practice medicine. I got the grades (well.....sort of), passed the tests, jumped the hoops, and ran the gauntlets all to no avail. For three years, I put myself through this unrewarding and tedious quagmire.....until recently. With a sense of righteous indignation and adventure I elected to take the alternative path and attend medical school 1,977 miles away from home on the island of Grenada. This blog is an ongoing record of my experiences at St. Georges University School of Medicine(SGU). |
