| Introduction | I think art is a way to both transcend and record life. I am intrigued with small gestures: the quiet, reflective gaze of a young girl, the furrowed eyebrow of a woman reading a good book, the joyful abandon of a boy running through the lawn sprinkler on a hot summer day. As an artist, I love to record these little moments that might otherwise be lost amongst the broader spectrum. I love how art can help us appreciate things we might otherwise overlook. I think strong art helps us to see and think in new ways. I have taught art to children, worked as an interior designer, a chef, and most recently worked as a digital enhancement artist for a photographer. I believe in sunlight on the side of a house, chamomile tea, and the color fuchsia. |
