If you were a pirate, how would you avoid laughing when saying 'poop deck'?

I wouldn't. I would just laugh. I'd be an immature and slightly insane pirate, much like Captain Jack Sparrow, so people wouldn't bat an eyelid if I laughed at 'poop deck'. Or I'd be so fearsome that I'd ban anyone from saying it and just call it 'the deck' instead.
