| Introduction | I'm a wife, mom, step-mom and grandma. A scrivener, runner, reader and cook. I've always loved reading. Seeing the words written is so reassuring--especially for me--because I'm hard of hearing. Reading is a great equalizer. Writing is my dream job. And, like many writers, I have a checkered past. I've worked a variety of jobs; in college, I exercised racehorses to pay for school, in my twenties, I was an apparel buyer in Manhattan. I later went back to school and collected a degree in nursing before I realized hearing is a Very Important Skill for RNs. (What do you mean your patient doesn't have any breath sounds?) I returned to school for an MBA and spent many years working in corporate bankruptcy liquidation. I bring this body of knowledge to my novels. CODE OF SILENCE is my debut novel. I'm currently working on my next project, WORK IN PROGRESS. I am a third generation Texan and live in Dallas with my husband, daughter and two very crazy dogs. |

| Favorite books | Anything by Stephen White, Stephen King or Dean Koontz. I loved WATCHERS and have probably read it two dozen times. A new favorite is Taylor Stevens. I'm beginning to see a name correlation... |
