IntroductionOn looking through photos of a progressively changing self, it occurred to me that the outer journey while inescapably written on our faces and bodies for all to see, in no way reflects the inner one. That one for me, as for most people, is a long and winding path. A path that meanders through sunshine and shadow, sometimes a gruelling uphill climb, sometimes an easy coast downhill. For me it's always been amidst changing scenery, at times accompanied by special companions, but quite often alone. Always though it's been a place of constant learning, yearning, dreaming, planning, hoping and working towards that best of who I am. This is of course now, and always will be I suspect, a work in progress. As such it needs to be constantly reviewed, monitored and assessed at times, but above all shared with my fellow travellers - hence the genesis of Annabelle and her Annals.
