| Introduction | I was born and raised in Detroit, nestled safely away in the buttcrack of Canada, and now I reside in balmy (read: uncomfortably hot) Maryland with my fiance. I graduated with a dual bachelor's from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), and then went on to earn my master's degree in English Literature from the University of Maryland. My fiance and I are planning an August 2009 wedding in the Scottish Highlands. In my spare time, I've been attempting to write the next not-so-great-American novel. |
