| Introduction | I was born in Rio de Janeiro but, when I was 3 years old I moved to BrasÃlia-DC. My mom raised me by herself and because I had lot of energy she decided to enroll me on Judo classes. As I grew I wanted something more challenging. That's when I started training Jiu Jitsu, with 16 years old. I fell in love with the gentle art and I was lucky to have as a Master, one of the few people in the world that owns a Red Belt, Master Deoclecio. After I got my blue belt I wanted to test myself in the competitions so, I focused on improving my performance and develop new skills. Although I loved training where I was, I decided it was time for me to change. That's when I found this great instructor, Master Ataide Jr. leader of Constrictor Team. I joined the team and started training with amazing partners, some of them from UFC, I felt like home. I got my Black Belt there on 2013. Then, I moved to US on 2016 and joined Ralph Gracie Team in 2018. During my career, I have been champion and medalist at many tournaments, including at the No-Gi Worlds in 2016. In the same year I found my passion for teaching, I love sharing everything I've learned on my martial arts journey. |
