About me

Introduction I am turning a year older soon, and have been feeling my age lately. If anyone has a remedy for sciatic nerve problems, give me some advise. I have tried ice, Aleve, heat, exercise, rest,a chiropractor, and have been in the hot tub. Nothing works. The only thing I haven't tried is going to a doctor, but what could they do? Friends, help me out!
Interests As you all know, I am involved with a group of crazy ladies that like to ride bicycles. We are planning to go to Italy in 2010 and ride the country side. I have several old trailers that I am restoring. One is a 1957 Nomad, all silver and just a cute as can be. The other is a 1975 Caveman. It is really cute too. I don't want to let either of them go. I am always starting a new business. I am trying to start another new one and I call it "Cooty Cover Travel Kit". My Miss Gilly's Gormet Frozen Cookie Dough isn't really going well, I think I will just keep some on hand and just keep for Ryan. He loves them. Lately I have had a great interest in updating our home. I remodeled our bathrooms, and redecorated our bedroom. I loved how everything turned out. Wow, with no talent in this area, I had some success. I think! Now with spring on the way my interests will turn to the garden. I have great plans for our yard, fence and walkway I hope. My greatest interest is my family. There isn't anything more important to me than my beautiful family. God save the queen!
Favorite Movies I saw a great movie last night with Christy. I also saw the same movie with the McCraneys. "Inchanted", I had to see it again and look for all the innuendo's Beau said were there. True, in the fairytale they did live happly-ever-after, but in real life, they lived together. Disgusting!
Favorite Music I heard the song Hallallua sung on America Idol by the guy with the greadlocks, and I realized I really love that song but sung by KD Lang. Go to the end of my blog and you might be able to play it.
Favorite Books Randy Abbott suggested a fun book to read besides the Book of Mormon and the Bible which I read everyday for my seminary class. The title is "The Year of Living Biblically" by A.J. Jacobs. He is a Jewish guy that praticed Judaism by placing a star of David on their Christmas tree. He is agnostic, but knows a journey like this could change his life. He grew a beard, wore sandals, and a robe made of natural fibers. He tried to live all the laws everyday. He felt stoneing wouldn't be a good idea, nor animal sacrifice so he didn't do that, and lucky for him circumcision was a family tridition. Jacobs writes for the New York Times, and is hilarious but at the same time very respectful of the scriptures.
