| Introduction | Johnny is a performance artist and candidate for a MFA: Interdisciplinary Studies Degree in Theatre & Creative Technology at the University of Regina. His interests are in autoethnographic performance and the connections/parallels between how we perform ourselves online and on stage. How do we transform our narratives into something more than our physical selves? And Why? Hope you enjoy the blog! The audio file link is for one of my sound pieces. I had a singer and a tap dancer speak one of my spoken word pieces while I layed down the musical score. Then the singer sang the words, while the tapper- tapped the words. I layered them altogether and created this piece. Enjoy! Credits to: Julie Mombourquette (Vocals), Thomas Hines (Vocals/Tap) |
