Introduction	An expressive reader. A lover of all things colorful. A follower of Jesus. I am a 2nd grade teacher with a love of children's books. The moment I step into a thrift store, you can bet I will most likely make a beeline for the children's book section. I am always on the hunt to find new books for my classroom library or to use as a read-aloud. I especially love books with a strong, positive message that can be used to encourage character development in children. I also love books that make kids laugh! It is my goal to instill a love of reading in my students and help them discover books that interest them.
