| Introduction | I grew up in Colorado (no, not Boulder or Denver or anywhere you might recognize) but, yes, Delta. Delta, Colorado, is located between Grand Junction and Montrose at the confluence of the Uncompahgre and Gunnison Rivers (population ~5,000). I believe that Delta (okay not the actual town but the people and the experiences) shaped me into the person that I am today. Don't all small towns? Most recently, though, I was living and working in Arizona (my actual birthplace) in the healthcare industry. Oh, and I taught yoga on the side. But, I have been searching for work that is not just a job and this is what brought me to Africa. |
