Introduction	I spent over twenty five years as a counselor. Now I practice painting allot because I don't have to talk. I have speech disability and coherently speaking is difficult. I also have difficulty understanding verbal communication at times. This condition happened five years ago after a 7 1/2 hour surgery to correct a back condition. I am no longer who I was but I am becoming who I now am. The door for me as a counselor is now closed. I am walking through a new life in the beautiful world of watercolor painting.
