| Introduction | I have been messing about with herbs for decades. A lot of people get into herbalism through gardening or studying botany. I got into them many years ago because I was very sick, and I had an aversion to doctors' offices (yes, I know doctors have their place. I just try not to go there unless I absolutely have to.) For me, herbs often seem to work better than pharmaceuticals,(which of course also have their place). Speaking of that, you won't find a very pharmaceutical approach here, so if that is what you are looking for, best keep looking. I have a more personal, magical relationship with the plants, and that is how I write about them and also how I employ their services. "Magic is alive, God(dess) is afoot!" |

| Favorite movies | the wild child, the 400 blows, 2001, Lord of the Rings, The Petrified Forest, Key Largo. I like oldies best. To be honest, I don't see a lot of movies. I can't really say why. Now books--that's another story. Know any 12 Step programs for bibliophiles? (That just means booklovers, nothing nasty.) |
