| Introduction | I was born in Jamaica, and have lived here for most of my life; attending Ardenne High School where I did O & A' Levels, then the University of the West Indies, leaving with a B.A. Degree in Mass Communication with Social Sciences. I entered the working world as a copywriter in the Publications & Advertising Dept. of the Jamaica Information Service, later moving into radio & television production at Lindo/FCB (advertising agency). After a number of years I left the Agency, intending to take a short break but to date I've not had another full time attachment in a company. I started creating handmade jewellery, initially with my own photographs; suddenly jewellery craft became the thing that I did, along with occasional freelance work in writing & public relations. These days, I still make jewellery but I'm also dabbling in Health & Wellness. Experimenting with natural body care products & raw food recipes in addition to other healthy foods & juices is my latest healthy 'obsession'. Healthy Green has become a journey & a lifestyle of choice. |
