| Introduction | I am a mother of two children and a grandmother of four. My husband and I have been married for almost 45 years! I am a retired biology teacher having taught for over twenty-five years. Currently, I am a "domestic manager" for the three youngest grandchildren. I have an Etsy shop called Snazzy Snugglies that enables me to have an outlet for my creative sewing. Due to "life", I am taking a hiatus from my Etsy shop, but I will return. Besides enjoying sewing, I love to plant and watch flowers grow in my gardens. I love watching the changes in nature throughout the year. My favorite trips have been to London, Alaska, Yellowstone National Park, and the Caribbean. My husband recently retired, so we will enjoy more travel adventures! In 2013, I experienced breast cancer. Luckily, we caught it early; although I had to undergo a double mastectomy with reconstruction. Nothing like a brush with death to enhance one's appreciation for each day and being here with our loved ones. |
