| Introduction | So then, it depends not on the one who runs or the one who wills, but on God who has mercy (Romans 9:16)
God is the one who saves unconditionally; we are the ones who receive mercy unmerited. If God is sovereign and we are His subjects, why do we still act as if He is under obligation to save us? We are saved because of His great love. That is what Scripture gives as a reason for our salvation. It is not because God felt compelled to be "fair" as we think He should be. |
