Introduction	When I sat down to write 'about me' I started to completely over think it...do I take the witty approach, do I try to look intelligent...I thought it would be best if I keep it simple! It upsets me to admit that I am 29 years old (only just though!), and as far back as I can remember I have loved to read. I was very shy as a child and would always prefer to be tucked away in a corner, lost in a good book rather than having to speak to 'real life' people. My biggest ambition was to be a librarian, as I loved the idea of being around books all day and being able to talk to people about books I have read. This hasn't happened (I work in equality and human rights, another of my passions but that's another story!), so I'm hoping that this blog will be an opportunity to share my thoughts on books that I have read, and also to discover a little about other readers.
