Introduction I'm a working writer; that is, I write every day and have written several books. The newest book is Back Again to Me, a novel about adoption. Prior to that, I wrote three books in two years--and I don't recommend that! They are Talking Your Way to the Top: Business English that Works (Prometheus Books 2006); A Love for Learning: Motivation and the Gifted Child (with Carol Strip Whitney, Ph.D.)(Great Potential Press, 2007), and The Complete Idiot's Guide to Difficult Conversations (Alpha Books, September 2007). I also like to help other writers try to achieve their dreams, so I work as a book doctor/independent editor as well. You can find out all about that part of my life at www.midwestbookdocs.com. You'll also find several of my articles at www. ezinearticles.com and I occasionally blog at amazon.com, too. But my blogspot blogs--write better now and gretchen's writing life--are far and away the most active.
