| Introduction | (Haley Alvarado) I am one of the two teachers that make up "The Mackarados." Although I am beginning my eighth year of teaching at Chets Creek, my co-teacher Meredy Mackiewicz and I have been teaching together for going on 3 years. We are looping teachers, which means we teach Kindergarten one year and keep our students the following year for First Grade. I graduated from University of Florida with my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education - GO GATORS! I have been married to my husband, Hector for almost five years. We are so blessed to have a beautiful and happy little girl, Shalyn, who will be turning two in September! I love my job mostly because of the long-lasting relationships that I develop with my students AND their families! (Meredy Mackiewicz) I am excited to begin my 4th year of teaching at Chets Creek. I graduated from University of North Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Master's Degree in School Counseling. My husband of three years,Kevin and I had a baby girl, Bretton Scout this past April. She is growing and changing so much. She's the center of our life and we just love her! |
