| Introduction | Greetings, friends and foodies! Welcome to my blog dedicated to the love of food and wine. I am hoping that you'll be so intrigued by my recipes and so trusting of my tastes in wine that you will try them all! If not, I am not above guilt-tripping you. ;) These are my general goals with food - to create delicious dishes with "real" foods that can be prepared with basic kitchen skills - aka no processed junk and easy too! To be the best at creating the easiest, most flavorful, and great recipes. These are my general goals with wine - to prove that you can find amazing bottles for under $20, both for every day AND special days. I'm pretty good at this. I like to think you will appreciate my budget friendly picks and my lack of snob-factor. I live in the Capital of New York with the three best taste testers that ever existed. Jeff is my too-good-to-be-true boyfriend, willing to taste almost anything. Charlie is my 11 year old chow/terrier mix, who is nearly as big as I am, with an equal love for pecorino romano. Mani is my 3 year old bichon/poo, who is as sweet as he is mean... and steals more food than any creature I have ever known. I love my boys. |
